  A busy headhunting office in New York City complained to us about how cumbersome and time-consuming it was to import resumes off the Web into their ACT! database.


Used by 25-user (ACT! 2005) Exec Search firm to streamline their candidate relationships and submissions and their job placement orders from their clients.


Create Job Order Records which are linked to the client (both Contact and Company records)
  • Link candidates (ACT! contacts) to the Job order record
  • History created of candidates relationship to the job posting (Submitted Date; Interviewed Date and Time; etc.)
  • Email notification to recruiters as new job orders are entered into system
  • Automatically create a job order from a client's email. (Also links to ACT! client record automatically.)

Filter options

The top row allows for filtering by Job Type, Date Range, Job Status, Sales Rep, and Keyword. By double clicking on the selected job order above you can review the job in detail below:

If you click on "Add/Edit Candidates", you get the screen below, where you can remove or add additional candidates to the job order. (These candidates can be stored in ACT.)

Select Candidates

Specify Interview Date & Time

Select your candidates for the job. You can specify the submit date as well as an Interview Date/Time. (The interview date and time will show up on the ACT calendar if you chose.)

You can also click the yellow "Go to Candidate" record, and you will be taken into the ACT contact screen of your candidate.
